This course will provide a general awareness of the issues and implications of current legislation and best practice applicable to health and safety duties of employers and employees.

Content

  1. The general nature of the course will cover an outline of current legislation with an appreciation of the legal consequences of failure. However, the course will concentrate on best practice and cover issues like safe systems of work, inspections and accident investigation and prevention.

The course is tutor led with a combination of taught program and group exercises, to allow delegates an opportunity to share views and by way of guided discovery, gain a better understanding of health and safety.
